These etching presses are driven directly on the lower roller by means of a star wheel. The lower roller is provided with glide bearings and the upper roller with ball bearings. It is possible to dismantle the spokes of the wheel to aid transportation. The bed is manufactured from a hard synthetic plate.
This press can be used for printing drypoints, line etchings, aquatint as well as linocuts and woodcuts. (For relief printmaking we would advise using with runners.)
